Brigitta TELLVIK, piano
Ten year old Brigitta TELLVIK comes from an Indonesian-Chinese-Swedish family and has been playing the piano since she was five. She currently resides in Hong Kong and receives regular piano tuition with Russian teacher Dr. Natalia Tokar.
Brigitta loves performing and has performed at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room in London, the Muramatsu Recital Hall in Osaka, Japan, and at the Hong Kong City Hall Recital Hall. This is Brigitta’s second appearance at Musica del Cuore in Hong Kong. Earlier in 2017, Brigitta was the featured soloist on J.S. Bach’s piano concerto in F minor with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, in The Star Bach concert.
In 2016, she won First Prize (junior) in the Grand Prize Virtuoso (London), First Prize (Children’s Intermediate) in Hong Kong Asia Pacific Youth Piano Competition, Second Prize in the Sonata section of the Hong Kong Asia Pacific Youth Piano Competition, the Espoir Prize at the Osaka International Music Competition in Japan, and the First prize at the Zhongsin International Music Competition in Hong Kong. In 2015 she won First Prize at the Fourth Macao International Piano Competition.
